Your privacy and security is important to inDirection Games, “we” or “us”. This document describes how we collect and process personal data and other information about our end users.

We are inDirection Games AB, a Swedish limited company with registration number 559359-1315.

Our responsibility
Personal data is any data can be linked to a physical person. We have the utmost responsibility in deciding which personal data is collected about our users and how it is processed.
Since your privacy and security is very important to us, we only collect the data that we need for our operations. We also have a stringent security policy as to prevent unauthorized access to our systems and as such some of your data.
The types of data we collect from our website www.indirectiongames.com are IP-address (in server logs), general visitor information (browser and visited pages), and links to Social media services.
Accounts
When we provide a means of creating an account, either in our web services or applications, we will ask for some information, such as email address and name. This is to operate account functionality and use as data for marketing purposes.
An example of this is registering for our newsletter.
Contact
Should you email any of our addresses, for instance hello@indirectiongames.com, the data therein is used strictly for communication purposes and will be discarded at an opportune moment. You can at any point request removal of this data.
When participating in the inDirection Games discord channel, the data from your activity is never used in the operations of our business.
Should we want to use any content from your interactions with us, we will ask you for express permission to do so.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g, videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Third parties
Since our operations depend on thirds party services, e.g, web hosting and newsletter communication, some of your data may be collected and processed in their storage.
Data retention
In general, we process your data for the duration of our agreement and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you have given consent to particular data, it will be erased immediately once you terminate your consent.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Your rights
When we process personal data about you, you have rights over this data. Here is a non-exhaustive list that we think you should know about.

- You have the right to have erroneous data about you corrected or supplemented.
- You have the right to have data about you deleted. This action may render some or all of our services useless.

- You have the right for your data to be exported from us in a format that is digitally readable by another entity.

Data protection
Should you want to exercise any right over your data, we reserve the right to exercise security measures to authenticate you as the person you claim data for and thereby verify your ownership over the data.
Failure to demonstrate your identity and rightful ownership may in some circumstances hinder us from complying with your request. This is to ensure that your data does not end up in the wrong hands, as well as protect us from requests of malicious intent.
Policy changes
We may update this policy document at our discretion, and the latest valid version will always be available through www.indirectiongames.com. If we are required to notify you about a change to this policy or ask for consent due to its implication, we will do so.
